So Good Digital is looking for a video host and content creator for one of our client’s social media channels. You would help us make and improve on videos similar to the following:

We’re looking for an experienced Canadian French tutor/translator, who is ready to create engaging content for mature language learners. We expect you to work 5-15 hours per week. Experience in video making and editing is a huge plus, but not necessary.
Our ideal candidate is someone with both Canadian French teaching/tutoring experience as well as content creation knowledge. If you are a former tutor that doesn’t have experience with video but could feel comfortable creating beginner to intermediate-language videos for YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook, then we want to hear from you.
We’re looking for a candidate with excellent on-camera skills and experience creating educational content. The ideal candidate goes beyond being a video creator. We’re looking for someone to join our community by creating meaningful content.
If you’re interested but don’t know where to start regarding script writing, planning, or editing videos – we can help. We’re open to individuals who want to try video creation for the first time. However, if you have experience in editing your own videos, that’s an asset.
Required Experience:
-Native, Near-Native, or Fluent in Canadian French
-Preferably some experience teaching French to students, or writing and editing French written texts, and a stickler for grammar, pronunciation, and language rules
-Fluent in English
-Has or has the potential to have excellent on-camera skills, specifically with educational content
-Ability to collaborate on projects but also work solo efficiently when necessary
Preferred Experience:
-Editing your videos with Adobe Premiere Pro or other professional tools
-Experience creating and hosting high-quality educational/tutorial-based content, both long and short form, for various platforms and use cases
-Familiar with key video metrics (CTR, AVD, APV, etc.) and an understanding of how to create content that boosts them.
-Familiar with what makes good social media videos for YouTube, TikTok, and others.
-Firm understanding of the entire video production process (from the scripting process, recording voiceovers, capturing video, recording your screen, editing the video, adding assets, the upload process, and post-upload processes)

-Experience with creating thumbnails for YouTube and other platforms
